Mozey back on Serial Killaz? Of course he couldn’t stay away too long, it’s not like we have been ignoring his many calls and texts is it, especially now he’s decided to put down the spray can, make some more killer beats and send them our way.

Harking back to the good old days of decorating train stations, brick walls and the like with various colours of spray paint, Mozey takes us on a trip of ‘Criminal Damage’ with the first in a two part series. Certainly riding on the recent wave of wobbling basslines, both ‘Frica’ and ‘Russian Roulette’ go down the route of frantic LFO digits with the addition of Mozey’s signature arrangements.

You light your beats hard with a bit of a skip in their step? If so, then ‘Frica’ is going straight in your crates. It’s loveable pace combined with an array of melodic bass hits you right in the feels although to be honest, that’s probably not what Mozey was after with this. Just don’t announce it to anyone.

‘Russian Roulette’ is a synth arroracks dream, adding luscious layers to the wonky bassline lead. A potential intro to any 2021 spy movie that you might get away with seeing at the cinema, failing that - just drop it at an illegal rave and hide under the redline.
